Kajal Aggarwal, born on 19th June 1985, is an Indian actress and model. She is popular for her works in Telugu and Tamil language films as well as a few Hindi movies. Kajal has featured in more than 50 movies and has won two South Indian International Movie Awards. Her debut was in 2004 with the Hindi movie Kyun! Ho Gaya Na… and her first Telugu film was Lakshmi Kalyanam, released in 2007. The same year, Chandamama was released which gave her fame. The Telugu fantasy action movie Magadheera was a turning point in her career and was a great success at the box office. It is one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time and she was nominated for Best Actress at several award ceremonies including the South Filmfare Awards.

Kajal has also appeared in Telugu films like Darling (2010), Brindavanam (2010), Mr. Perfect (2011), Businessman (2012), Naayak (2013), Baadshah (2013), Govindudu Andarivadele (2014), Temper (2015), and Khaidi No. 150 (2017). Additionally, she was the female lead in Tamil films such as Naan Mahaan Alla (2010), Maattrraan (2012), Thuppakki (2012), Jilla (2014), Vivegam (2017), and Mersal (2017). She made a return to Bollywood with the hit movie Singham (2011) and another successful film Special 26 (2013). 

In 2020, Aggarwal made history by becoming the first South Indian actress to have a wax figure at Madame Tussauds Singapore.
